Book Cover Design

I was quite interested when I first saw the new project brief. This time, we have to design a book cover which included the front cover, spine and back cover. We have to make it like a real published book with publisher, barcode and so on. Besides, we have to design at least 5 pages of Chapter Headings as well in our book. So, I've chosen my book subject area about children and decided to create a nursery rhyme book for them. Of course, I've gone through hard times during the design process, have to redo and do further improvements on my designs. I've used the technique of colour papers collage and colour pencil medium for my designs. Then, I've learned to bind the book and hard cover all by myself to save money but its really time consuming. Luckily, the presentation ended quite well without my expectation and compliments from lecturer that my outcome for my book was quite neatly done. Ehehehe! Happy lah! I'm excited that I have created and made my own book! :D
